The Opportunity
A global life sciences organisation is implementing SAP Intelligent Clinical Supply Management (ICSM) to modernise how clinical trial supplies are planned, manufactured, and distributed. We are seeking an experienced SAP ICSM Consultant for a 12-month contract, focused on hands-on delivery and the integration of external Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) into the clinical supply chain. This is a fully remote role within a regulated (GxP) environment, suited to a consultant who has taken ICSM through real implementation and integration cycles.
What You’ll Be Doing
Owning end-to-end delivery of SAP ICSM — from requirements through configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
Designing and building CMO integration: the interfaces and data flows between ICSM and external manufacturing partners (supply orders, batch/lot data, manufacturing confirmations, status updates).
Configuring core clinical supply processes — demand forecasting, supply planning, kit and label management, and distribution to depots and clinical sites.
Integrating ICSM with the wider SAP landscape (S/4HANA) and third-party platforms such as IRT / RTSM systems.
Ensuring all deliverables meet GxP, validation (CSV), and data integrity requirements throughout the lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Proven hands-on delivery experience with SAP Intelligent Clinical Supply Management (ICSM) on live implementations or rollouts.
Demonstrable experience integrating CMOs / external manufacturing partners into an SAP supply chain.
